Skill set overview
This Skill Set provides a set of skills for providing person-centred support to older people in various settings, within the delegations of an established individualised plan.
This skill set is for individuals who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Community Services, Health or a related field, who work in various care and support roles and who wish to develop skills in providing person-centred support to older people, within the delegations of an established individualised plan.
Successful completion of this skill set results in a Statement of Attainment for the units listed below.
Entry requirements
- There are no formal entry requirements for this skill set; it is intended for individuals who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Community Services, Health or a related field.
Units of competency
To be awarded a Statement of Attainment for this skill set, competency must be demonstrated in 5 units of competency. All units are mandatory.
